IVI-Akoestiek-PRO

The sound absorption and sound insulation of rooms is the focus of attention. To improve the acoustics of a room, the reverberation time is usually shortened. A sound-absorbing material is an important part of the solution. Nevima supplies the easy-to-process
IVI acoustic systems for optimal sound absorption. This consists of the IVI Acoustic Plate  that is applied to a cavity filled with IVI Absorption Wool. The high absorption values prevent disturbing reflections, regulate the reverberation time and prevent flutter echoes.

Definition

The IVI-Acoustics plate is now available in three versions, the IVI-Acoustics Basic, the IVI-Acoustics BRV and the IVI-Acoustics Pro. The IVI-Acoustics Basic has been developed for standard applications and the IVI-Acoustics BRV for similar applications where higher fire requirements are set. The IVI-Acoustics Pro has been developed to withstand the heaviest loads, such as walls in sports halls and gymnasiums. The IVI Acoustic System Pro and the IVI Acoustic Ceiling both have a certificate for ball stability according to the standards of the NOC/NSF. Both systems comply with fire class C-s2,d0. The product is made of 100% polyester without chemical binders or additives and is fully recyclable. The IVI-Acoustics Pro plate is easy and very pleasant to process. It can be cut to size with a saw or a knife. The material is flame retardant and also has excellent thermal insulation values. The IVI-Acoustics Pro board is supplied in light grey as standard. On a project basis, the sheet can be supplied in other sizes and colours on request.

Applications

Due to its high impact resistance, the IVI-Acoustics Pro board  can be used for both walls and ceilings of intensively used areas, including sports halls. The IVI Acoustic Plate is installed on a 600 mm battens. For quick and invisible attachment, the IVI acoustic panel is  attached with mounting kit. Fastening with screws or headless nails is also possible. The cavity should be fully covered with IVI absorption wool for optimal absorption values. In addition to excellent absorbent properties, processing or use does not release any fibres that can cause irritation. For ceilings with high (ball) loads, the IVI-Acoustics BRV is  used (see leaflet IVI-Acoustics ceiling).
