IVI-Metal system HD

In order to insulate a pitched roof against sound nuisance it is very easy to use the IVI-Metal system HD to create a flexible framework between the purlins. The biggest advantage of the IVI-Metal system type HD is the simple and quick way in which the uncoupled construction is made. Metal U- en C-profile pieces are used for this.

The Nevima IVI-Metal strip HD and Nevima acoustic self-adhesive tape ensure that the underlying construction is completely uncoupled from the rest of the construction. Cladding, for example made from gypsum plasterboard, is then fitted to the framework. The requirements for sound insulation given in the Building Decree (Bouwbesluit) 2002 can be achieved and even exceeded when the HD system is used for a pitched roof.

U-track:   0.75 mm sendzimir galvanised steel
H x B x L:   40 x 50, 75 of 100 x 3000 mm
Installation hole:   Dia. 30 mm, distance between centres 300 mm
Felt:   Thickness 21 or 8 mm respectively
Specifications:   Artificial fibre, permanently flexible; ageing resistant; joint- sealing and vibration-damping; consists 100 % of recycled material. The connection between the felt and the track is ensured by mechanical means.
