The insulation value of a double wall is determined by the following factors:
- the nature of the existing construction
- the flexibility of the double wall construction
- the weight of the cladding
- the depth of the cavity
- the extent to which the existing and the double wall are uncoupled from each other
Nevima has two systems for creating such double walls simply.
- Double wall on the basis of IVI-Soundbattens - in particular suitable for walls constructed from board material such as Multiplex, Betonplex or MBM.
- Flexible double wall on the basis of the IVI-Metal system and gypsum plasterboards.
