THE FELT INNOVATOR

Gravil is a permanent sliding layer, which consists of a graphite coating and is applied one-sidedly to Bouwvilt N80 and/or N100. The graphite coating forms a sliding surface. This can be done together with the existing construction, or if it is very non-slip, with smooth auxiliary material. The maximum load of Construction Felt Gravil is 2.0 N/mm2.

Gravil sliding felts are provided with a graphite coating.
Nevilon sliding felts have a Teflon coating.

• Gravil N80/N100: for heavy slab floors, foundation beams, façade elements and beams (reduction of edge stresses).
• Nevilon sliding felts: very wide range of applications.

Versions

Construction felt Gravil sliding felts are  available in the following versions by adding a graphite coating:

• Type A: graphite coating on one side;
• Type C: as version A, but with 3.2 mm masonite and wrapped in PE film;
• Type S: graphite coated all around.

Construction felt Nevilon is available in many versions. For high requirements in terms of bearing stresses and friction resistance, a Teflon coating is applied to these sliding felts instead of graphite coating
