Slide bearing GBB / GKK
Nevima Sliding Foil is used as a sliding support between building components with different coefficients of expansion (such as lintels, parapets and roof floors). The Sliding Foils ensure that the different materials can move unhindered in relation to each other as a result of thermal influences. Of course, this also applies to displacements caused by creep and shrinkage.
The Sliding Foils are available in two versions, both have two plastic layers on which protective layers have been applied. To prevent the penetration of dirt and cement water, the sliding foils are sealed in a 0.07 mm thick transparent PE foil. This packaging remains in the construction.
